Billie Goegebeur

Born in Bruges, Belgium from a Parisian mother and Flemish father.
She has been surrounded and was educated as of her earliest remembrances in the Arts of Entertainment and Fashion, the Culinary Arts, and the Fine Arts in Northern Europe, where she was born an artist and lived the first half of her life in the very intelligent and very adventurous circles of Europe's demi-monde, where she thrived...
Age 13 - first stage performance in the Youth Opera "Romeo and Juliet" as Romeo.
Age 13 - Royal Academy of Fine Art, first fine art award for a mixed media composition, "Flower/Power".
Age 17 - Royal Theater of Bruges, directed, choreographed and performed in "Sunshiny Days", inspired by the music of Gladys Knight and the Pips.
Age 23 - Started in the entertainment industry in the Private Night Club sector as a DJ in Germany, Cologne. That set the stage for a successful 6 year DJ career in Private Night Clubs, Disco Clubs and Private Striptease Clubs.

Travels through the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy, Northern Africa, Spain, Portugal and Greece for the next years as a Muse and Courtesane.
Age 31 - Immigrates to the US and expands artistic and musical horizons influenced by the American culture.
Occupied in the Fine Art Gallery Business as a successful Art Consultant in Modern & Contemporary fine art. Becomes very good friends with Belgian artists Rudi Pillen and Serge Vandercam. Becomes a passionate advocate for the CoBrA Movement in the US.
Changes focus to the web, and becomes successful in business and product marketing, through creating user friendly and usable designs for the web and web application / software design.

Professional experience in planning, designing, producing and marketing for online businesses and product environments.
Over 10 years of experience in the Internet and New Media industry focused on Web Design, Application Design, Art Direction, User Interface and Interaction Architecture & Design, and Usability.
Makes it an objective to make the web a more effective, efficient and user friendly place to be.
