  Billie stopped her musical explorations as a drummer... The yearning for passionate musical expression is still there... the energy is still there... but how it will manifest itself in the future is unknown at this point.

Her deep rooted influences come from Gypsy, Classical, Blues, Swing, Jazz and Soul.

Learned from:
Max Roach, Jack De Johnette, Billy Cobham, Al Foster, Phil Collins and Peter Erskine...

Other major influences were Ornette Coleman, Miles Davis 70's and 80's and music produced under The ECM label with artists such as Keith Jarrett, Dollar Brand, Abdulah Ibrahim, Pat Metheny, Jan Garbarek, Terje Rypdal, Jack De Johnette, et al.

Retired completely from the music scene in 2002... still played some invitationals up until 2005...
